About Waymaker Works
What started out as merely a dream turned into a reality in 2020. My newlywed wife and I had been praying and asking God if it was time to depart from the union and blindly start a business of our own. I decided it was time (even with a little resistance from my wife, starting a business immediately after we’d gotten married and during a nationwide pandemic) and took a leap of faith.
As my wife fervently prayed to find a name for the business, I remember setting ground rules for this new venture. I wanted everyone to know we were faith-based without even having to ask. I wanted us to be different and involved. I wanted relationships and honesty with our clients. I wanted to create memories with them and bring their dreams and visions to life.
I remember when my wife walked out of our prayer room and said, “Waymaker, Miracle Worker, Promise Keeper, Light in the Darkness, that is who You are.” In that moment, we knew: Waymaker Works, Light in the Darkness.
God has been so faithful on this journey, creating opportunities and jobs I never thought I’d come across. What was meant to be a small-town electrical company now builds houses and powers full commercial buildings.
